Mission Statement
Our mission has always been to raise money for worthy causes in our community. One of our primary objectives in moving ahead, and into the 21st century is to repair and renovate our Club House. The building is a Historical Landmark, and we want to preserve it and make it more attractive for other organizations to rent and, thereby provide revenue for the causes we support.
Organized in 1899. and federated in 1915, our club maintains a 1911 Historical Landmark #8 clubhouse available for rent to the community. Ojai is a magical place located about 2 hours northwest of Los Angeles in Ventura County, California. It has long been known as a haven for artisans from woodworkers, to painters, to ceramicists, sculptors and more. It is also known for its boutique hotels, recreation opportunities and as one of the world’s spiritual vortexes, i.e., the cross-points between energy fields in the earth’s grid system. The Chumash Indian name for the city was ‘Awah’y’ which became ‘Ojay’ which later became ‘Ojai’ which means moon.
